Jo would let you know if she liked you in her own quirky way with humor and food - generally served up together. She also had no problem letting you know if she didn't like you without leaving any doubt to ponder.
Words that come to mind when remembering her: family, church, cooking, canning, sewing, quilting, crocheting, Word Search, iPad, sassy, spunky, fun-loving; loved playing games as long as she won....and she often kept score....so she won A LOT! Caring for others including children, husband, hospital and nursing home patients, church family, and community organizer in other families' times of need.
She loved Taylor Hill Church and loved playing the piano there for decades. She and her first husband literally helped build the church which had quickly outgrown its original tent structure.
Mrs. Danford is survived by Children: Wanda (Jim) Carr, Larry (Becky) Kidd, Jane (Ronny) Nicholson, Diane (Ted) Vignola, Paula (Chuck) Smith, and Greg Kidd. She also leaves behind Grandchildren: Ben Carr, Zac Carr, Chris Kidd, Lori Kidd King, Ryan Kidd, Chad Dawkins, Jeremy Dawkins, Will Smith, and Rachel Smith LaBarge, along with 9 Great-Grandchildren, 4 Great-Great-Grandchildren, and Special Friends: Joy Adcock, Sue Bryan, Hazel Capps, and Marie Grantham.
She was preceded in death by Husbands: Cecil Kidd, Eugene Fuller, and James Danford, along with her parents, Fannie Mayberry Hudson and James Alfred
Hudson, and her siblings: Lewis Hudson, Agnes Lansdon, Evelyn Mount, Lucille Danley, and Frances Hall.
