Benjiman F. Morrow, 91, of Elba, Alabama, passed away Tuesday, October 7, 2025, at Terrace at Grove Park in Dothan, Alabama. Funeral service: Friday, October 10, 2025, at 11:00 AM, Hayes Funeral Home Chapel. Officiant: Elder Jim Webb. Committal service: Evergreen Cemetery, immediately following the funeral. Visitation: Friday, October 10, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Hayes Funeral Home.
Ben was raised on the family farm in the Danley Cross Roads community as one of seven children of Fellis and Elma Dorough Morrow. He served 20 years in the United States Air Force before retiring. After his military service he taught usable skills to challenged students at Elba High School. Ben was a farmer and rancher who maintained a small herd of cattle and produced more crops than could be used by three families.
He loved people, enjoyed cooking and family gatherings, and had a talent for fixing things. As one of his grandsons said, "He could fix anything except the crack of dawn and that's only because he hadn't figured out how to get there yet."
Ben loved his country and devoted much of his life to caregiving. He cared for both of his wives Bobbie then Sula and oldest son Fellis until their deaths and later cared for his sister Jane until her death; they are now rejoined in heaven.

Sister-in-law: Sadie Morrow, Daphne, AL. Grandchildren: Benjiman (Rebecca) Morrow, Savannah, GA; Matthew (Shauna) Morrow, Long Beach, CA; Graham (Ashley) Morrow, Auburn, AL; Rachel Morrow, Elba, AL. Great-grandchildren: Benjamin Casey, Elba, AL; Maddox Morrow, Auburn, AL; Emma Morrow, Auburn, AL; Liv Morrow, Savannah, GA; Emilia Morrow, Savannah, GA; Murphy Morrow, Savannah, GA. Other survivors: Numerous nieces and nephews.
