Cabert Earl Mills age 85, a resident of Elba, Alabama passed away Sunday, December 29, 2024 at his daughter's home in Fairhope, Alabama. Graveside services will be held at Evergreen Cemetery on Monday, January 6, 2025 beginning at 11:00 AM with Rev. Kit Johnson officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Hayes Funeral Home. Visitation will be at First Baptist Church of Elba on Monday, January 6, 2025 from 9:45 AM to 10:45 AM.
Mr. Mills was a lifetime resident of Elba, AL. He always enjoyed spending time with family and friends and watching Alabama football games. Golf was a favorite hobby in his younger years.  In recent years, he enjoyed playing dominoes with his close friends at the Elba Country Club.  He was a longtime member of the First Baptist Church of Elba.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory a daughter, Molly Mills Mosley, son-in-law, Andrew William Mosley, and a granddaughter, Alexandra Reagan Nelson all of Fairhope, Alabama,
Mr. Mills was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Pearce Mills, along with his parents, Nancy Gertrude Mills, and Lawrence Mills, and a brother, Bobby Mills.
