Obituary

Cherriee Ann Lampp Hales, who believed that Jesus Christ is God and walked with Him as her Lord and Savior, died May 2, 2021.

Cherriee was born on June 28 th and lived most of her life in Dothan, Alabama.  She graduated high school in Cedar Key, Florida, which always had a special place in her heart.

Cherriee was blessed with a large and loving family.  She is survived by her two daughters Jana Lynn (David) Welch of Eufaula and Janeice (Kevin) deLange of Mobile; five grandchildren Stephen and Amber McCord, Seth Welch, Jacob and Jonah deLange; two great-grandchildren Hayden Thornton and AnnaLei McCord; her sisters Elaine (Stuart) McCardle of Denham Springs, LA and Cindy (Jerry) Mongar of Ooltewah, TN; sister-in-law Connie Lampp of Tallahassee, FL; and her brothers Kent (Esther) Lampp of Graceville, FL and Mark (Melba) Lampp of Trenton, FL.

Cherriee is also survived by many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.  She is preceded in death by her parents, Mildred and Billie Lampp; brothers, Barrett and Newton Lampp.

The family will have a "Celebration of Life" service on Tuesday May 4, 2021 3:00PM at Mt. Gilead Baptist Church, Dothan, Alabama.

Cherriee and her family request that if it is your desire to honor her, you may make a donation to Mt. Gilead Baptist Church, Dothan, Alabama or to the Alabama Baptist Children's Home.
