Connie Fontes of Pensacola, Florida, departed this life on March 21st, 2025, at HCA Florida West Hospital in Pensacola. She was 65 years old. Born in San Diego, California to Mary Nell and Henry Collis Hardy, Connie grew up in Oceanside, California. Her love for sun and sand stayed with her, and she made the Gulf Coast her home for the majority of her life. Her carefree energy never faded; she always carried the beach with her, wherever she went.

Connie is survived by her son, Alex Fontes of Pensacola, FL; her brother, Jim Hardy of Milton, FL; and her son, Thomas Fontes of San Diego, CA, as well as many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Graveside services will be held at Pine Level Cemetery on Saturday, April 26th, 2025, at 11:00 AM, with her son, Alex Fontes, officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Hayes Funeral Home.
