Ms. Evelyn Edwina Hodge 91 of Elba, AL departed this life Saturday, July 2, 2022 at her home in Elba, Alabama.

Survivors include: Daughter - Brenda Nelson(Robert), Elba, AL, Daughter - Shery Stanton, Baker, FL, Daughter - Tina Faulkner(Jim), Zolfo Springs, FL, Son - Wade Stanton(Nell)Ozark, AL, Sister - Betty Jean Miles, Toccoa, GA, Sister - Shirley Elaine Slawson, New Brockton, AL, Brother - Ronnie Edmund Walden(Shirley)Brundidge, AL, 9 Grandchildren- Wayne Nelson(Amanda), Paul Nelson(Stacey), Ashley English(Russ), Mathew Nelson(Shay), Randy Stanton(Tammy), Jennifer Stanton, Andoria Cook(Chester), Chris Nelson(Candie), and Derek Vance(Amber). 17 Great Grandchildren and 5 Great Great Grandchildren.

Ms. Hodge was preceded in death by her Father - John Luther Walden, Mother - Elda Scarbrough Walden, Husbands- Ford Stanton, Charles Davis, and Fletcher Hodge, Sisters - Gwendolyn Boutwell, Lena Louise Jacobs, Dorothy Elda Smith, Maxine Walden, Barbara Joyce Carter, and Rhonda Sue Parker, Brothers - Luther John Walden, and Aubrey Lee Walden.

The family would like to extend their gratitude to Day Spring Hospice for their care. The family would like to especially thank Kim Kelley and Amanda Riley for their outstanding support and kindness during this time.
