Faye Young Peters, age 89, of Elba, Alabama, departed this life on Friday, February 27, 2026, at her home surrounded by the love of her family.

Funeral services will be held at Victoria Baptist Church on Saturday, March 7, 2026, at 11:00 AM with Rev. Donnie Marler officiating. Committal services will follow in the Rosin Ridge Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Victoria Baptist Church on Saturday, March 7, 2026, from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM.

Mrs. Peters devoted her life to her family, her faith, and the values she held dear. She was a steady and loving presence to all who knew her, and her legacy continues through the generations she nurtured with grace, strength, and quiet devotion.

She is survived by: Daughter - Barbara Anne Peters, Fort Pierce, FL, Daughter - Becky Peters (David) Owens, Ponce De Leon, FL, Son - John Daniel (Kim) Peters, Elba, AL, Son - William Harold Peters, II, Vero Beach, FL, Sister - Sharon (Bruce) Stephens, Fort Pierce, FL, 11 Grandchildren and 17 Great-Grandchildren.

Mrs. Peters was preceded in death by her beloved husband, William Harold "Bill" Peters; her father, Floyd Gilliam Young; her mother, Ola Illene Young; her daughter, Kathy Peters Busbin her brother, Floyd Young; and her sisters, Anne Jenkins.

Serving as pallbearers will be Buddy Carter, Donnie Hussey, Jeff Hussey, Dan English, Van Maddox, and Harry Rainey.
