Hilda Milligan Free 72 of Elba, AL departed this life Tuesday, October 3, 2023 at her residence at the family farm in the Basin Community surrounded by her family.   Funeral services will be held from Ino Baptist Church on Saturday, October 7, 2023 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Garry Winstead officiating.  Committal services will follow in the New Home Cemetery. Visitation will be at Ino Baptist Church on Saturday, October 7, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM.

Hilda was born and raised Brewton, AL and was a graduate of TR Miller High School, class of 1969.  She was a caring and devoted wife and mother and was the glue that held her family together.

She was preceded in death by her parents Johnson P. and Vivian Burch Milligan, her husband of 53 years- Rudolph Free; Sister - Lynn Scott; and Brother - Marcus Milligan.
