Jane Elizabeth Morrow

July 22nd, 1930 - September 12th, 2025

"Beloved Sister, Aunt, and Great Aunt, like a Grandmother to Us All."

Aunt Jane was a strong, independent woman with a love for her family and the Lord. She was known for her beautiful smile, selfless heart, and the ability to always put the ones she loved first.

She was born in Pike County, Alabama, and grew up out at Danley Crossroads. She remained at her family home until she moved into an assisted living facility a few years ago. Aunt Jane was a very strong-willed woman with a work ethic that anyone could admire. She went to work right out of high school and did not go back to attend college until she was in her fifties. She graduated from what was then known as Troy State University with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and a Master's degree in Accounting. She then worked at HRDC up until her retirement at the age of 79. After a life well lived, Jane departed this life on Friday, September 12th, 2025, surrounded by her family, while under the care of the nurses and staff at The Terraces at Grove Park in Dothan, Alabama.

Funeral services will be held at Hayes Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, September 15, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Olan Strickland officiating. Visitation will be held at Hayes Funeral Home on Monday, September 15, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Committal services will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery.

Survivors include: Brother, Ben Morrow, Elba, AL; Sister, Sue Sellers, Monroeville, AL; Brother, Marion (Gail) Morrow, Dothan, AL; and a host of nieces and nephews, as well as great-nieces and nephews.

Jane was preceded in death by her parents, Fellis Franklin and Elma Dorough Morrow, Brothers, Floyd and Jerry Morrow, and a Sister, Jeanette Aldridge.
