Mary Jane Owens, age 80 of Enterprise, went home to the Lord on February 16th, 2025. She passed away after a courageous three year battle with cancer. She was surrounded by love and comfort in her final moments. Funeral services will be held from Hayes Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, February 19, 2025 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Slade Stinson officiating. Committal services will follow in the Meadowlawn Memorial Park cemetery. Visitation will be at Hayes Funeral Home on Wednesday, February 19, 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM.
Jane was a devoted wife to her husband, Ronald (Ronnie) Owens, for 62 years. She was a loving mother to three daughters Rhonda Jouvenas (Randy), Darlene McKee (Mark), and Sonya Daniels (Chad). She was an adoring Maw-maw to Andy Jouvenas (Hannah), Misty Barber (Nathan), Tony McKee (Hannah), Jessica Boutwell (Chad), Angela Wilson (Andrew), Kristina White (Glen), and Marisa Yost (Theo), Brandi Smith (Chris), Catalina Hobbs (Shay), Cody Daniels, Cole Daniels (Bailey), Carly Daniels. She loved nothing more than to spend time with her great grandchildren Cayden, Emily, Olivia, TJ, Easton, Sawyer, Evelyn, Owen, Kennedy, Lily, and Abel, Destiny Jouvenas (Tye), Noah, and Aspen, Addyson Daniels, Makinley Daniels, Maverick Daniels, Amelia Daniels. And countless others that called her Maw-maw.
Jane was a member of Lee Street Baptist Church. She enjoyed gardening, crocheting, and scouring yard sales for treasures with Ronnie. She loved watching westerns and hallmark movies, and going to singings and revivals whenever she could. Jane was a strong and loving woman, who will be infinitely missed and always remembered.
Jane was preceded in death by her father James Grover Head, mother Jewel Pearl Head, brother DL Head, sisters Martha Dewberry, and Gayle Harcus and great granddaughter Lily Wilson.
