Janie Marler Allen, 71, of Elba, AL departed this life Monday, October 3, 2022. at Elba Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Elba, Alabama.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Eddie B. and Myrtle Marler, Glenwood, AL. Private services will be held at a later date.

The family wants to thank all of Janie's many lifelong friends, that she made during her 50+ years in business in Elba. Thank y'all for being there for her. We can't say "thank you" enough to the Elba Nursing and Rehab staff for her excellent care and companionship. Yall were so good to her!     We want to especially mention her friends, Gg, Celia, Mary, Benita, Kathleen, Savannah and Jennifer. I know we are forgetting some names, but we know that you know she loved you. We're sure, she told you!

Survivors include: Son - Michael Waddell II(Christy), Montgomery, Sister - Patricia Marler, Ozark, Sister - Charlotte Walkup (Bob), Naples, FL, Sister - Marquita Davis, Dozier, Brother - Ray Marler (Amy), Headland, Brother - Rex Marler, Glenwood. Granddaughters - Haley Waddell and Lindsey Waddell, Montgomery and Nephews-Logan Marler, Headland, Chris Davis, Andalusia, Latrese Davis, Dozier.
