Jewel McKinney age 88 passed away peacefully September 3, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. Jewel was a devoted wife, mother, sister, and grandmother whose life was marked by love, kindness, and unwavering dedication to those she cherished most.

Jewel's greatest joy in life was her family. She found immense happiness in the simple moments—gatherings around the dinner table, laughter-filled conversations, and the warm embrace of her loved ones. Jewel's gentle spirit and compassionate heart touched the lives of everyone who knew her.

A funeral service will be held at Hayes Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, September 5, 2024, beginning at 3:00 PM with Rev. Donnie Marler officiating.  Burial will follow at the New Home Cemetery 457 Co Rd 413, Elba, AL 36323.  Visitation will be held at Hayes Funeral Home on Thursday, September 5, 2024, from 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM.
