John Steven Daniels, age 71, a resident of Elba, Alabama, passed away Tuesday, September 15, 2026, at Troy Regional Medical Center.

Graveside services will be held at Evergreen Cemetery on Monday, September 21, 2026, beginning at 11:00 AM with Rev. Kit Johnson and Jerry Kelley officiating.

Mr. Daniels is survived by his son, LaDon Daniels (Leala) of Valparaiso, FL; son, Matthew Daniels of Andalusia, AL; daughter, Ashley Daniels Newton (Steven) of Fayetteville, GA; grandson, Waylon Bryant Daniels; brother, Joey Daniels (Brenda Thomas) of Elba, AL; and sisters, Janet Stambaugh (Wayne) and Traci Brown (Charles), both of Montgomery, AL.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Mary Jo and Aaron Lamar Daniels.
