John Burton Harper, Sr. 93 of Elba, AL departed this life Wednesday, March 8, 2023 at Mizell Memorial Hospital in Opp, Alabama. Funeral services will be held from Hayes Funeral Home Chapel on Sunday, March 12, 2023 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Kit Johnson officiating. Private committal services will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be at Hayes Funeral Home on Sunday, March 12, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM.
