Joyce Helen Powell 87 of Brantley, AL departed this life Thursday, October 17, 2024 at Baptist Hospital South in Montgomery, Alabama. Funeral services will be held from Friendship Baptist Church (Bullock) on Monday, October 21, 2024 at 2:00 PM with Rev. David Copland officiating, Mrs. Powell will lie in state one hour prior to services at the church. Committal services will follow in the Bullock Community Cemetery. Visitation will be at Hayes Funeral Home on Sunday, October 20, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Bobby and Joyce were married for over 68 years

Mrs. Powell was preceded in death by her parents Mark and Annie Pearl Golden Tate.
