Mrs. Linda Pope loved to shop (as long as she got to sit in the car while someone else did the shopping). She loved to travel (as long as she didn't stay too long). She loved going to church (as long as she didn't have to stay after and eat lunch). She loved her husband Mark for 53 years on earth and is still counting in heaven. She loved her three boys, along with the adopted daughters they built their lives with, and she loved to be called Granny by all of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved her siblings and all the friends who called her day in and day out. Most of all, she loved Jesus and wasn't afraid to make it known.
She leaves behind: Son: Ronald Pope, Dothan, AL, Son: Marcus (Heather) Pope, New Brockton, AL, Daughter-in-law: Janet Pope McLeod, Troy, AL, Grandsons: Aaron Pope, New Brockton, AL; Adam (Sommer) Pope, Skipperville, AL; Matthew Pope, New Brockton, AL, Granddaughter: Kayla Pope, Troy, AL, Great-grandchildren: Walt Pope, Sutton Pope, and Cullis Pope, all of Skipperville, AL, Brothers: Eddie Bradshaw, Samson, AL; Jerry (LouAnn) Bradshaw, Enterprise, AL, And numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Mark M. Pope; her son, Russell Pope; and her siblings, Charles Bradshaw, Ted Bradshaw, Garland Bradshaw, and Betty Jean Driggers.
A special thank you from the family to Opp Health and Rehabilitation, LLC, for taking outstanding care of her, continuously spoiling her, and treating her like family.
