Lisa Willis Kelley age 50, passed away Saturday, June 13th, 2026 at Elba Nursing and Rehabilitation in Elba, AL.  Though Lisa faced many challenges with her mental health growing up and as an adult she never failed to thrive in whatever situation she found herself. She loved fiercely whether it was her family, her friends or her pets.  If she met you, she remembered you for life and considered you her friend.

Lisa was a member of Whitewater Baptist Church.  She cherished the fact that she had been baptized and she truly believed in the Lord.  She looked forward to joining her parents, Jonathan (Sally) Willis and Glenda Bolding Willis in heaven.

Lisa was preceded in death by her parents, her former husband, Joel Kelley, and her special aunt Mary Ann.

Lisa is survived by her aunt, Debra Crosby, who was a constant in her life after her mother's passing.  She is also survived by her loving cousin, Mike, and her former husband Daniel DeBoer who with his partner, Debbie, remained dear friends.  She is survived by her son, James Jonathan DeBoer, who is incarcerated at this time. The many nurses and patients at Elba Nursing and Rehabilitation became dear friends and the family is thankful for their love and support.

Lisa will be cremated and no formal services will be held.
