Lucy Mae Watkins 82 of Elba, AL departed this life Friday, December 27, 2024, at Southeast Health in Dothan, Alabama.  Graveside services will be held from Mt. Gilead Cemetery on Monday, December 30, 2024, at 11:00 AM with Rev. Dewey Emfinger officiating.  Visitation will be at Hayes Funeral Home on Monday, December 30, 2024, from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM.

Survivors include:
Son - Michael Railey, Elba, AL, Daughter - Heather Bobo, Birmingham, AL, and Son - John D. Watkins, Cookeville, TN.  She also leaves behind twelve grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Watkins was preceded in death by her Parents Jewel Parker and John Ward; Siblings: Betty Harrison, Obida Ward, Mary Richardson, Harvey Ward, Earl Ward, and James Ward; Daughter-Lashelle Burleson; and by a Grandson-Austin Watkins.
