Margaret J Rushing 85 of Saraland, AL formerly of Elba, AL departed this life Tuesday, November 22, 2022 at her home in Saraland, Alabama. Funeral services will be held from Hayes Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, November 25, 2022 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Don Lee officiating. Committal services will follow in the Pine Level Community Cemetery. Visitation will be at Hayes Funeral Home on Friday, November 25, 2022 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM.

Survivors include: Son - Dondy Rushing, Saraland, AL, Daughter - Sherrie (Haywood) Tart, Chunchula, AL, Daughter - Leta (Jamie) Lynch, Chunchula, AL, Brother - Naftel Nelson, Brantley, AL, 7 Grandchildren and 18 Great Grandchildren.

Mrs. Rushing was preceded in death by her Husband - Donald Rushing, Son - Ricky Owens, Father - Casty Nelson, Mother - Fannie Birdie Nelson, Brother - Waylon Nelson, Brother - Lathan Nelson, Sister - Willodean Galimore, Sister - Maureen Hudson.
