Mavis Powell Le-Gear age 86, a former resident of the Bullock community, passed away Sunday, February 23, 2020 at Baptist Village Nursing Home in Waycross, Georgia. Funeral services will be held at Friendship Baptist Church on Saturday, February 29, 2020 beginning at 12:00 PM with Rev. Bobby Powell officiating. Burial will follow in the Bullock Community Cemetery with Hayes Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be at Friendship Baptist Church on Saturday, February 29, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

She leaves behind a Daughter - Judy Harrelson, and Son-in-law - Rudolph Harrelson of Moultrie, GA, Grandson - Tony (Tammy) Harrelson, Waycross, GA, Grandson - Stacy (Angel) Harrelson, Biloxi, MS, Granddaughter - Kristi Harrelson, Deltona, FL, Granddaughter - Kisha Le-Gear, Elba, AL, and Grandson - Ashley (Korra) Le-Gear also of Elba, Alabama. She is also survived by Sisters, Margie Samson of Bartow, FL, Mary (Gerald) Pryor of Luverne, AL, Martha (James) Carlile of Brantley, AL, and Ruth (Hugh) Smith of Brantley, Alabama, along with a host of great and great-great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Le-Gear was preceded in death by her husband William Le-Gear, a son, Scottie Le-Gear, by her brother William Powell, along with her parents Eddie and Fannie Powell.

Hayes Funeral Home of Elba, Alabama is serving the Le-Gear family
