Maxine Boyd 97 of Jack, AL passed away peacefully at her home Sunday morning, November 19, 2023. Funeral services will be held at Hayes Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, November 21, 2023, at 11:00 AM with Grady Williams and Rev. Mark Cooper officiating. She will be buried Wednesday, November 22, 2023, at Eastern Gate Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Pensacola, Florida. Visitation will be at Hayes Funeral Home on Tuesday, November 21, 2023, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM.

Maxine is survived by her daughter, Jane (Kieff) Lambert of Jack, AL, daughter, Gloria Ann Penton of Pensacola, FL, daughter, Deborah Sue (Robert) Braithwaite of Pensacola, FL, and son, John Stewart (Sandra) Boyd of Blairsville, GA.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Johnnie B. Boyd and her parents, Robert and Frankie Smith Estes.

Hayes Funeral Home of Elba, Alabama is serving the Boyd family.
