Neil Henderson 83 of Elba, AL departed this life Thursday, December 15, 2022 at home in Elba, Alabama. Funeral services will be held from Ino Baptist Church on Sunday, December 18, 2022 at 2:30 PM with Rev. Garry Winstead officiating. Committal services will follow in the Hillcrest Memorial Gardens cemetery. Visitation will be at Ino Baptist Church on Sunday, December 18, 2022 from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM.

Mr. Henderson had a passion for his family, his church and his friends. He was a faithful member of Ino Baptist Church, a member of the 1957 Auburn University National Championship football team, a long time Elba High School volunteer football coach including the 1989 and 1992 State Championship teams, and a member of Elba Masonic Lodge 170 for over 50 years

Survivors include: Daughter - Starla (Mike) Amison, Elba, AL, Son - Mathew Neil "Matt" (Ginger) Henderson, Frisco City, AL, Grandson - Reagan JonAshley (Michael Ann) Amison, Montgomery, AL, Grandson - Kenneth Neil Amison, Montgomery, AL, Grandson - Neilson Ray Henderson, Frisco City, AL, Grandson - Nathan Reed Henderson, Frisco City, AL, Grandson - Noah Reese Henderson, Frisco City, AL.

Mr. Henderson was preceded in death by his Wife - Shirley Henderson, Mother - Foye Hattaway, Sisters - Ruth McDowell and Mary McKenney, and a Brother - Glenn Henderson.
