Patsy Hines, age 77, of Elba, Alabama, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, at Elba Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. A proud daughter of Elba, Ms. Hines will be remembered for her grace, warmth, and enduring love for her community—qualities she embodied as the 1966 Miss Elba.

Graveside services will be held at Evergreen Cemetery on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, at 1:00 PM, with Derek Snellgrove officiating.

Ms. Hines is survived by her devoted son, Justin Cody Hines (Brandi) of Shubuta, Mississippi; her loving sister, Gin Faith of Elba, Alabama; and two cherished granddaughters, Kaylee Hines and Halli Flemming. Her legacy lives on in their hearts and in the community she so deeply loved.

She was preceded in death by her father, Cody Lee Spurlin; mother, Fay Marie Spurlin; son, Samuel Jason Colvin; and brother, Joe Spurlin.
