Rebecca Ann Coppage, age 85, of Elba, Alabama, passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, August 19, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family. A devoted wife, mother, sister, and grandmother, Rebecca lived a life marked by grace, kindness, and unwavering faith.
Funeral services will be held at First Baptist Church of Elba on Friday, August 22, 2025, at 2:00 PM, with Rev. Kit Johnson officiating. Visitation will precede the service from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the church. Committal will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, where she will be laid to rest.
Rebecca is survived by her beloved husband of many years, Bennie Earl Coppage of Elba; her daughter Dixie (Jeff) Boutwell of Elba; her son Michael (Donna) Coppage of Enterprise; her brother Mack Holloway of Naples, FL; and her sisters Ellen (Sammy) Lowery, Eron Russell of Elba, Sharron Sowards of Niceville, FL, and Debbie (Marc) May of Naples, FL. She was a proud grandmother to four grandchildren and a joyful great-grandmother to eight great-grandchildren, each of whom brought her immense pride and happiness.
Rebecca's life was a testament to love and service. She was a faithful member of First Baptist Church of Elba, where her gentle spirit and warm smile touched many. Her home was a haven of hospitality, and her legacy will live on in the hearts of those who knew her.
