Ms. Shan Marie Hughes 53 of Opp, AL passed away this morning. No formal services will be observed according to her wishes. Anyone wishing to honor her may make contributions towards her final expenses.

Survivors include: Daughter - Chelsea Henderson of Troy; Son - Nicholas (Emily) Walker of Opp; Sisters - Joyce Abbott of Samson; Sister - Virginia (Ronny) Price of Elba; and Brother - Travis Wheeler of Florala.  She is also survived by seven grandchildren.
