Virginia D. Hataway 90 of Montgomery, AL departed this life Saturday, April 20, 2024 at her residence in Montgomery, Alabama.  Graveside services will be held from Bethlehem Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery on Monday, April 29, 2024 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Ron Sumner officiating, and Hayes Funeral Home of Elba directing. The family request flowers be omitted and those wishing to make memorials, do so to Bethlehem Church, c/o Cathy Odom, 668 County Road 439, Elba, Alabama 36323; or to the First United Methodist Church of Montgomery Respite Program, 2416 West Cloverdale Rd., Montgomery, Alabama, 36106, Attention: Laura Selby.

Survivors include:
Son - Phillip (Coleen) Hataway, Montgomery, AL, Son - Tommy Hataway, Montgomery, AL, Daughter - Belinda (James R.) Gideon, Montgomery, AL; 10 Grandchildren, 13 Great-Grandchildren, and 8 Great-Great-Grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents James and Sally Mae Farris Davis; Husband-Brady Hataway, and an infant daughter.

Hayes Funeral Home of Elba, Alabama is serving the Hataway family.
